Bazaar Bizarre Cleveland
Published by Shannon October 15th, 2007 in Bazaar Bizarre, Events
FYI for the local Cleveland crafter scene: applications for Bazaar Bizarre Cleveland are now available. This is Cleveland’s fourth year as an event city, and Stitch Cleveland co-owner Shannon Okey is the event organizer.
Bazaar Bizarre began in the Boston area circa 2001 with a group of friends bringing together their handcrafted DIY wares to sell while staging an offbeat entertainment extravaganza. Now in its seventh year, the Bazaar Bizarre has brought its hip, fun craft fairs to Boston, Los Angeles, and San Francisco as well as Cleveland.
So, mark your calendars now — Bazaar Bizarre Cleveland takes place downtown on Saturday, December 1 from noon to 9:00 p.m. This year we’re in a new venue, the Sincere Building. Located at the corner of East Fourth and Prospect (2079 East Fourth), the show will have considerably more space than in previous years and it’s right near Lola, the Corner Alley and all kinds of downtown fun.
We’re also soliciting performers — in past years we’ve had belly dancers, DJs and more — if you’re interested, leave a comment!
