Softies are more than just your average sock monkey or doll. Using felt allows you a wide range of techniques that would be difficult or impossible with ordinary fabric.
We’ll make one or more softies each — bring a thrift store sweater (or two or three!), fabric scraps, yarn, embroidery floss, buttons…whatever inspires you. Trade materials with other students to make truly one of a kind works. This class is appropriate for ages 10 and up if child is comfortably with using scissors and sewing machine.
